While the smartphone eco-system is pre-dominantly divided between Android and iOS: two major operating systems in the market, there are others like the Windows Phone offering from Microsoft that's also coming up to be one of the top players in that department.
We have a number of big names like Samsung and Sony who have anyway adopted Android as their primary OS offering, while Apple still keeps connected to its iOS offering.
But with other (comparatively) small names entering the market (like the new Micromax offerings in the domain), it won't be long before more and more customers start adopting the same, ahead of Android and others.
Two devices, in this category, trying to match the capabilities of others in the same boat are the new Micromax-made Win W092 handset and the previously released, yet the very popular Nokia Lumia 520.
This is Micromax's (and any Indian company, for that matter) first ever venture into the Windows Phone areana with the Win W092, after its success in the Android domain. The Nokia Lumia 520, on the other hand, has been there for quite some time now and has also become somewhat popular among users.
So if we were to take both these devices into contention for a while leaving all other out of it, where do you think both of them would stand against each other? We take a closer look.
