Although, the surge in the market with the Android KitKat OS is getting way too interesting, Micromax, India's leading smartphone vendor is today entering the Windows Phone eco-system. This was not a surprise as the company had long time back announced that they had collaborated with Microsoft to come up with its latest offering.
But it is not the only brand that will announce the Windows phone Device this year as Xolo has also been rumored to come up with a low-cost Windows Phone in a couple of weeks from now. Thus, these two rivals will have an interesting competition in the market.
However, there are hardly any specifications on the hardware as of now. But according to the TOI, the Indian smartphone vendor could launch two Windows Phone smartphones. The first device will be targeted at the entry-level segment priced close to Rs 6,000, while the other device will be a bit more expensive with a price tag close to Rs 10,000.
If these information turns out to be real, the Windows Phone arena will be soon packed with Indian OEMs. It should be noted that we are basically taking about the low-end Windows Phone devices.
Anyways, regarding the Micromax Windows Phone that is going to be launched today, you can watch the live streaming here.
