Micromax X278: Dual-SIM Phone With 1,800mAh Li-ion Battery For Rs 2,000
Aiming to become the second largest smartphone seller in India, Micromax is on a spree of expanding its portfolio – across various price points to attract different set of consumers. After the the launch of three powerful handsets, a phablet and a tablet, now the India-based manufacturer has released another feature phone, dubbed by the name of X278 for the Indian tech enthusiasts.
Claimed by the company, as an entertainment centric device, Micromax X278 will carry a dimension of 123 x 50 x 15.8 mm and will come packed with a 2.4 inch display supporting a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. Reportedly, X278 will be a dual SIM handset with a VGA camera, supporting digital zoom and video recording features.
Further, Micromax X278 with a candy bar form factor, will also have features like alphanumeric keypad, LED torch, micro SD card slot supporting 16GB expandable memory, music player, FM Radio, Bluetooth, USB and GPRS.
The highlighted feature of the handset is its battery life, which will be supported by a 1,800 mAh Li-ion battery. According to the company, Micromax X278 will offer a talk time of 5.5 hours and a standby time of 260 hours, however analysts believe this is not a good indication, as the handset is not utilizing the battery properly.
Meanwhile, for those who are interested, Micromax X278 is priced at Rs 2,000 only – which is a fantastic price tag for a feature phone with such an amazing battery life.
