Nokia may be currently out of the picture when discussing about the Lumia brand of handsets, but Microsoft has kept the Lumia name afloat. And so much so that we are already expecting a new Lumia handset minus the Nokia branding.
However, a new Lumia handset isn't far away as recent leaks have already shown that Microsoft is indeed on the verge of releasing one such handset. The specs, while not official, has already been leaked out.
While reports also claim that the new handset is currently meant for all those in China, it won't take long before the handset makes its way into the native market. But before that happens, here's a look at the top 5 things we know about the new handset.

Looks and Design
According to the rumors, the upcoming handheld is said to feature a 5-inch HD screen and should be available in a wide range of colors, including black, white, green, blue, and orange. The device looks a lot like the previously released Lumia 530.
Operating Systems
We aren't sure on this one but we have read a few places that this Lumia will arrive with an improved version of the current Windows Phone 8.1. And, apparently, all fingers point at the next Windows Phone 10 operating system.
Camera
While everything you read here is currently in a state of rumors and leaks, but the new Lumia with Microsoft's own branding is expected to offer a rear facing 5MP primary camera. A front facing snapper should also be on the cards.
Processor and RAM
Microsoft's first Lumia is said to offer a 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor with 1GB of RAM for support.
Release
For the time being, the handset is only aimed at Chinese users. However, we are pretty sure it will head over to India and others if the handset manages to garner enough numbers via the Chinese crowd.
