Nokia may be currently out of the picture when discussing about the Lumia brand of handsets, but Microsoft has kept the Lumia name afloat. And so much so that we are already expecting a new Lumia handset minus the Nokia branding.

However, a new Lumia handset isn't far away as recent leaks have already shown that Microsoft is indeed on the verge of releasing one such handset. The specs, while not official, has already been leaked out.

While reports also claim that the new handset is currently meant for all those in China, it won't take long before the handset makes its way into the native market. But before that happens, here's a look at the top 5 things we know about the new handset.

According to the rumors, the upcoming handheld is said to feature a 5-inch HD screen and should be available in a wide range of colors, including black, white, green, blue, and orange. The device looks a lot like the previously released Lumia 530.

We aren't sure on this one but we have read a few places that this Lumia will arrive with an improved version of the current Windows Phone 8.1. And, apparently, all fingers point at the next Windows Phone 10 operating system.
