Microsoft to roll out Lumia Denim update soon for U.S Verizon users

For the past few days, Microsoft's Lumia Denim started reaching the Lumia users in certain parts as an update for Windows Phone 8.1 devices. Initially starting from China, the update was then rolled-out to Europe and recently it has arrived to India. Lumia Denim updates is released in selected markets of Europe as well as India. In India the Lumia 520 as well as the Lumia 525 has recieved the update. Now the Microsoft's Lumia Denim update is starting to roll-out for the US users, but only for those Lumia users who have Verizon as their carrier.

Microsoft to roll out Lumia Denim update soon for U.S Verizon users

The American broadband and telecommunication company revealed that, roll-out updates for the Lumia 822 and Lumia 928 will begin over the next few days and the Lumia Icon will follow in early 2015. Verizon users will directly get the Lumia Denim update, skipping Lumia Cyan.

The latest Lumia Denim updates include features such as Consumer VPN for added security, Live Folders for better organization, and Cortana for virtual assistant. The new update also provides major upgrades to your Lumia's camera (depending on device).
