Microsoft to Rollout Windows 10 Mobile Tech Preview Update to HTC One M8 and Lumia 640

Microsoft has confirmed the latest Windows 10 Mobile Technical Preview with build number 10080 and will be pushed to their devices running Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2.

The company also expanded the compatibility devices including Nokia Lumia 930, Lumia Icon and Windows version of HTC One M8.

The latest OS update built is not available for HTC One M8 (Windows version) running on Windows Phone 8.1 Denim Update.

However, Gabriel Aul, General Manager OSG Data and Fundamentals at Microsoft, confirms that Windows version of HTC One M8 will get another update before pushing to Windows 10 Mobile built 10080.

Meanwhile, Lumia 640 users have reported an issue in updating their devices to Windows Mobile 10 built 10080. Devices running software version 8.10.151.127.138 or 8.10.1513.146 are affected with issues and will not be able to receive latest update.

But Microsoft stated that new update is available for Lumia 640 smartphone running above mentioned software version. The new update will allow Lumia 640 users to further upgrade to Windows 10 Mobile build 10080.
