Moto E 2nd Generation Purported Images Leak Online

After a long time, Moto E is in news again for its 2nd Generation sucessor which is said to be coming soon. There's a new leak showing the alleged images of the next generation Moto E 2.

The build and design are completely resembling the original Moto E, but the screen-body ratio is not proportionate. The same second speaker grille is missing on the front like in Moto E (2014) and the primary camera without flash.

Comparing with earlier version of Moto E, this one seems to have a secondary camera on the front side and a secondary noise-canceling microphone on the rear side. The leaked image shows it is wearing a bumper cover which is more rugged than the normal back cover.

Moto E 2nd Generation leaked specs:

• 4.5 inch qHD display
• Powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC
• 1 GB RAM
• Android v5.0 Lollipop ( from the leaked image)

Other specifications like LTE connectivity is not yet confirmed, even the leaked image doesn't showed any connectivity symbol. Smartphone companies like Xiaomi and Micromax already launched cheapest 4G smartphones in the Indian market. This might make Motorola to equip the next generation Moto E with LTE connectivity to be in the competition.

Last year, Moto E made a debut in the Indian market for a cheap price tag of around Rs 7,000. After it's debut all other smartphone makers followed up the same strategy and started releasing the rivals for Moto E with premium specifications at budget price.

Moto E became the top seller in the Motorola list of smartphones launched last year and proved to be the best budget smartphone. Although Asus Zenfone 5 and Redmi 1S were launched with more high-end specifications than Moto E, but the sales of this phone didn't stopped in the Flipkart.

On September 2014, everyone expected to see the next generation Moto E as Moto G 2nd and Moto X 2nd Gen were launching. But as a surprise, not even a single hint on the device was announced. Hence, now we expect to witness the launch of Moto E 2 really soon.
