Just yesterday, after sharing the factory images of Android 4.4.3 build, Google started rolling out the same update to the Nexus devices. The Nexus smartphones and tablets will, thus, be getting the taste of the latest Android version in India as well.
But at the same time, Motorola has also announced that the Android 4.4.3 update would be rolled-out for its three popular devices, viz. the Moto X (T-Mobile), Moto G (U.S and Brazil) and Moto E (U.S.) starting this week. Sadly, there is no information as to whether the update will be released in Asian markets, including India.
However, the Android Kitkat 4.4.3 version is not much of a big update and thus only comes with a minor feature enhancements.
To be precise, it would bring an improved dialer with a new interface, new colors to enhance consistency and usability and several stability, framework and security fixes in addition to accuracy improvements to the power profile.
To go individually, the changes that you will notice in the Moto X after you update it with Android 4.4.3 version are as follows:
Users will find an improved image quality improved camera image quality including better consistency of exposure, more realistic flash coloring, improved photos in low light conditions using front camera. Also a pause option in video recording. Moto X will also see an updated phone dialer with a new graphical layout and improved colors. New Motorola Alert application will let the users send periodic alerts with your location to your selected contacts.
In the case of Moto G, it is similar to the Moto X. But in Moto E, the update will only get you the updated phone dialer with a new graphical layout with improved colors and better usability.
The new update is expected to roll out for other regions and the Dual SIM variants in coming weeks.
