Many entry level android phones are making their debut into the mobile phone scenario. The latest addition to this segment is by Motorola. The phone is named as Motorola Defy Mini. This model is otherwise officially known as Motorola XT320.

Some images of the mobile have been leaked too. The phone looks very much similar to Motorola Defy+ but has a scaled down size. The pictures show a phone in bar phone design. The overall colour scheme is black with a bit of silver highlighting. The phone looks sufficiently compact. The edges are curvy and the overall styling looks simple and elegant.
The phone is said to pack in a HVGA display. If that is so the screen resolution will be around 480 x 320 pixels with an aspect ratio of about 3:2. This would give it sufficient pixel density. The screen is also touch screen type and can take in multi touch commands. The camera in it is of 5 mega pixels and this resolution is more than enough to take good quality pictures. The features and practicality of the camera is further enhanced by the provision of a LED flash. There is also a VGA camera in front. This camera is mainly for video calling and can be used to take self portraits too. This makes it a very good imaging device.
Motorola Defy mini has lot of connectivity options. The handset is compatible with different GSM frequency bands, 850 / 1900 and WCDMA band II and band IV. It also packs in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. A USB port is also there for wired transfer of data. Since it packs in Android Gingerbread platform the user won’t have any trouble finding all the needed applications. Those applications can be downloaded from the android store.
Motorola Defy Mini is first set to be launched in China. Its price tag as well as other features is not yet announced. It is expected to be in the stores by early next year.
