Back in September 2012, Motorola the US based handset manufacturer acquired by Google launched three smartphones including Droid Razr HD, Droid Razr Maxx HD and Droid Razr M. However, as compared to the other two smartphones, Razr M has been provided with pale specs being the mid-range offering.

However, a recent rumor suggests that this device is getting its time to have a successor with a few advanced specifications. According to a PhoneArena report, anonymous sources have provided some details on the possible specifications of Droid Razr M HD.

As per the the leaked specifications, Droid Razr M HD will have a 4.5 inch HD capacitive, multi-touch display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and a pixel density of 326 ppi. Further, device will have features like a light sensor, proximity sensor and scratch-resistant glass protection.

The report also claims that Droid Razr M HD will pack a mammoth 3,300 mAh battery delivering up to 21.25 hours talk time and 15 days standby, which is a bump from 1,300 mAh in the predecessor.

Moreover, a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8960 processor, which is the same as the Droid Razr M, 16GB on-board storage, 1GB of RAM, micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB expandable storage support and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system are also rumored.

Though these details revealed by the tipster are interesting and exciting, there are no substantial evidences for them and hence, the tech world will have wait for Motorola to launch the device to know its specifications.
