Motorola's official e-commerce partner Flipkart announced the deal just yesterday and is aimed to take on Xiaomi Mi 3, which has been hurting the sales of most of the mid-range smartphones in India. However, Flipkart says that the deal will last until the stock lasts, so this is a limited time offer.

Back in April this year, Flipkart also announced an exchange offer which would give the buyers up to Rs. 2,000 off on the Moto G smartphone. Even then it was a limited offer. Anyways, you might want to check out the specs of the handset.
Motorola Moto G: Key specifications
Moto G comes with a 4.5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) display with a pixel density of 329 ppi. It is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor coupled with a 1GB RAM and runs on Android KitKat OS.

You will get a 5MP rear camera with LED flash, auto-focus which is capable of shooting picture at 2592х1944 pixels quality and a 1.3MP front-facing snapper which is sufficient for making video calls and taking selfies.
The smartphone comes in 2 variants depending on the on-board memory which is 8GB and 16GB. Other specs include: Dual SIM (GSM + GSM), 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and non-removable Li-Ion 2070 mAh battery.
Whether the latest move from Flipkart and Motorola to push up the sales of the best selling Moto G smartphone in India will work or not? That's what we will have to wait for. Will it help the company to beat the sales of the Xiaomi Mi 3 in future?
