Earlier in the year, Google unleashed its Android L update at I/O 2014. The latest version of Android mobile OS brings in a lot of useful changes.
A few days back it was revealed that Motorola's recently launched handsets: the Moto X and Moto E, both the devices will get Android L update sometime in the near future. Though, Motorola claimed that the source of information was not correct.
But it seems that the company has accidently confirmed its plans to release the Android L update for the Moto X.
While commenting on a Google+ user Josh B's query about if the Moto X will ever update to the Android L (5.0), Punit Soni , Motorola's VP of Product Management confirmed the arrival of the latest Android update for its Moto X.
Although, he did not share any other details about Android L for Motorola devices but it appears that the Moto X will be among the select handsets to get the update later this year. Google is expected to push the Android L update later in the fall, alongside the global debut of the Nexus 6 smartphone.
