Motorola To Unveil Droid Razr M on September 5 alongside Razr HD

The US-based phone ma nufacturer Motorola is quite in the spotlight these days for its flagship smartphone, Droid Razr HD.

Earlier, there was numerous rumors claiming that the Droid Razr HD will hit the retail shelves in October alongside Droid Razr Maxx. Giving strong hints, Morotola and the wireless carrier Verizon joined hands to send invites for a September 5 press event in New York, in which the handset is expected to be launched.

The freshest news break suggests that Droid Razr HD will be unveiled along with Droid Razr M in the September 5 event.

Droid Razr M – What Features to expect?

According to a BGR report, Droid M is nothing but the follow-up of the long leaked Motorola Droid Razr. Moreover, the folks over there have mentioned that the smartphone will be available on US carrier Verizon in near future at an attractive contract of $149.99 (approx. Rs 8,500). Also, the handset will come in two color options – Black and White.

In the meantime, Engadget has disclosed the specifications of the smartphone in their report stating that the Droid M will sport a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED high definition display with a resolution of 1196 x 720 pixels and 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 processor. It will be equipped with an 8MP rear camera, 3MP front camera, on-screen navigation keys, 4G LTE, Gorilla Glass and NFC.

Furthermore, the Droid Razr M will come loaded with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box.

Droid Razr HD – What Features to Expect

On the other hand, Motorola Droid Razr HD is rumored to have a 4.5 inch CorlorBoost high definition display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. It will have an 8 MP camera and on-screen navigation buttons. Furthermore, the smartphone will be equipped with a 1.5 GHz dual core Qualcomm S4 processor. The handset will run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and will be powered by a 2,530 mAh Li-ion battery.
