MWC 2014's Best Devices: Top Smartphones That Were Launched At the Event

This year's Mobile World Congress (MWC) event, as promised, lived up to the expectations with a number of new smartphones and other related devices announced. While there were a few that didn't match our expectations, others were released at a low-end price range with not much to choose from.

However, on a whole, the event was used as the perfect pedestal for a number of new and coming smartphones that lived up to the expectations of most. A host of different manufacturers such as Nokia, Samsung and others were present at the event to promote whatever the companies have been working on in the past few months.

But while the event saw a boatload of devices being unveiled to the world, there were a few that stood out from the rest in terms of features, specifications and even pricing. Not only did these smartphones make an instant name for themselves, they also made their way into the wishlists of a number of fans looking to invest in a good smartphone in the coming months.

ZTE Open C:

The Open C is a smartphone a 4-inch WVGA display having a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. ZTE Grand Memo II LTE

The ZTE Grand Memo II LTE is a clear answer to Huawei Ascend Mate 2 4G, which was announced earlier this year at CES. The Grand Memo II LTE features a massive 6-inch 720p HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 13 -megapixel rear-facing camera and front-facing 5-megapixel front-facing shooter. The phone runs Android 4.4 Kitkat with ZTE's native MiFavor 2.3 OS on top of it.
