MWC 2015: ZTE Grand S3 with EyePrint ID, 3GB RAM Announced

Mobile World Congress 2015, is where many of the smartphones and other devices gets launched. This time, the podium belongs to another Chinese manufacturer ZTE. In this event, ZTE has unveiled the Grand S3, which is equipped with Eyeprint ID password-free eye-based biometric unlocking solution from EyeVerify. This technology works on unique vein patterns in the human eye using the smartphone's front facing camera.

ZTE Grand S3 - Key Specifications

ZTE Grand S3, sports a 5.5-inch OGS display with 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and Adreno 330 GPU along with 3GB RAM. On the storage, it has 16GB of built-in memory, with an expansion slot of up to 64GB via microSD card.

MWC 2015: ZTE Grand S3 with EyePrint ID, 3GB RAM Announced

Running on Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS, it features a 16MP auto focus camera with dual LED Flash, 8MP front snapper. This device supports connectivity options like dual SIM, 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (Dual Band), GPS/aGPS and powered by a huge 3100mAh battery.

Coming in Black variant, ZTE Grand S3 comes with the price tag of 2999 Yuan (approx Rs. 29,500) and available now in the Chinese market. The global roll out of this mobile is yet to be announced officially, and we are expecting it in the upcoming days.
