Those who previously had predicted that Taiwan's HTC was doomed would be regretting their misfired words. HTC is very much in demand after the success of its hit Desire 820 handset in China.

Now, the One (M8) maker is reportedly launching a new budget handset that could hit the market in January next year. A new leak of the Desire 620 has allegedly tipped the device's launch details, alongside its spec sheet.

The smartphone, which is rumored to arrive in India later this year, might be headed to Europe in January 2015, according to a Bulgarian blog Nixanbal. But in the meanwhile, the device has now appeared in full "hands on", ahead of its anticipated launch.

According to the specification list leaked by Nixanbal, the upcoming HTC Desire 620 features a 5-inch 720p HD display. Under the hood is a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 64-bit quad-core processor, paired with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of on-board storage and microSD card slot.

The smartphone has an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing shooter. It runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat and would come fitted with a 2,100mAh battery inside.

The leak follows the recent spotting of the device's alleged specs via an FCC filing, the device has clear one more hurdle on its way to shelves. Meanwhile, HTC has so far shown no interest in revealing the upcoming Desire 620.

HTC Desire 620 Vs Desire 610

The original HTC Desire 610 was launched way back in February during this year's MWC. The deice featured a 4.7-inch screen with 540x960 resolution; Qualcomm Snapdragon 400;1 GB of RAM; 8 GB of storage; 8 MP rear camera; Android mobile OS.

With the Desire 610, HTC gave users the option to witness an amazing budget phone in the restricted budget. In comparison to the Desire 610, the new phone appears to be a lot more attractive (of course, spec wise). However our final verdict about the Desire 620 is still awaited, since the handset is to be launched officially by the makers.
