The news is sad indeed. It was one of the most hyped handset once when it had its exhibition at the CES at Las Vegas this year. Now the spokesperson for Lenovo has finally revealed the company plans for the new Lenovo Smartphone that it will have its release only in China
Lenovo Android Smartphone
Let’s see what we have really lost in here by the company’s weird agenda. Lenovo’s Smartphone as reviewed earlier was one among the top class Android that the present day market would have ever witnessed. It being included with Intel’s Medfield family processor would obviously make it a standard performer and more.
The phone which had its show-off arranged and organized by the manufactures at CES 2012 was really a crowd puller with the news about the Lenovo Android spreading wide like a wild fire.
Lenovo K800 had features like a
4.5 inch touch screen display compatible to 720p HD native resolution
8 mega pixel camera that could capture images with supreme quality within even a second
Special graphic card for supporting and play back 1080p HD videos in the screen
6 hour HD video playback and a 8 hour 3G talk time
Audio playback up to a mesmerizing 45 hours
Now you know what we had really lost and what’s even more disappointing is that it’s still not sure whether the market will witness a similar phone anytime soon and nothing can be confirmed on that for now.
The handset which will have its initial release only in China, for some reason unknown, will be the company’s act to study the response for the phone there. The guys really know the phone is a super performer and they are counting on it. This could be the sales strategy to increase the handset’s hype on its other targeted markets, So that once introduced, there wouldn’t be a turning back.
China having several home-grown manufacturers manufacturing their own similar kind of gadgets with the same or even less price tags, wouldn’t find much a surprise in the handset and this could be a reason why the manufacturers are not taking risk their sales there with their newly found strategy. The phone however will obviously have its vast sales in other markets all around the globe according to reviewers.
But there is still a ray of hope when the spokes person for Lenovo told that the company will review its plans for India once the response of the phone is good in China, which definitely means India is next in the list.
