Samsung will be manufacturing the new mobile phone exclusively for Google.
The company recently issued a ‘Cease and Desist' notice via their lawyers which will legally prevent anyone from leaking the specifications of the new mobile phone to public through any means. This alone indicates that Samsung is into something very serious.
Nexus phones or Google phones are known to reach the customer hands without any modifications. Those will be completely pure in their form without any company interfering in its mobile user interface and applications.
The new edition of the Nexus phones will be titled under the name, Nexus Prime. This is based on the ‘Cease and Desist' notice issued by the company which was confirmed in Geek.com with the scanned copy screen shots of the notice paper.
It was earlier expected that, LG will be undertaking the manufacture of the new Nexus phones. This was because, the last two editions of the phone were manufactured by HTC and Samsung. HTC manufactured the Nexus One while it was Samsung that launched the Samsung Nexus. So naturally, the reviewers and critics all over the world speculated the chances of LG undertaking the newer edition. With the new news, that has been proved wrong. Now, once again Samsung will have the pleasure.
With the news about the new Samsung mobile phone running wild over the internet web pages and sites, rumors have started to spread like wild fire over the specifications the new Samsung Nexus Prime would have, if that's the name.
The most major among them is obviously about the Samsung Nexus Prime phone featuring the Ice Cream Sandwich Operating System that is an Android version 4.0. The screen size, according to the rumors can be expected to lie between 4 and 5.2 inch. The super AMOLED HD screen display of Samsung can also be expected in the phone. The most powerful 1.5 GHz Texas instrument processor assisted with the Samsung Dual core unit is also rumored to have included in the Samsung Nexus Prime phone configuration.
Other expected features in the Samsung Nexus Prime phone includes a Facial recognition software, Qi inductive charging (wireless charging) and even an Android@Home for tying the devices at home with the help of Google monitored protocols and APIs.
