Acer Liquid Jade Primo is a Flagship Windows 10 smartphone powered by Snapdragon 808

Acer has brought along a number of devices along with them to the CES 2016. Among them is the Acer Liquid Jade Primo which is the latest Flagship offering from the Taiwanese OEM. Wait, it doesn't run on Android, instead the Liquid Jade Primo has the latest Window 10 on board.

The Acer Liquid Jade Primo comes with a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920x1080p) AMOLED display upfront and is powered by a hexacore Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC. This is strapped with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage.

In terms of optics the Windows 10 Flagship device from Acer sports a 21MP rear camera equipped with dual LED Flash and a 8MP Selfie Snapper. Furthermore Acer has been generous enough to include a USB Type C thereby enabling data transfer speeds as high as 5GBps.

It worth mentioning that the Acer Liquid Jade Primo is compatible with the most exciting feature of Windows 10 i.e. Continuum. All you need to do is to get hold of a display dock and connect a mouse, keyboard, external monitor as well as your smartphone via cables to convert it into a functional desktop.

Acer has also given their best to make the Liquid Jade Primo look like a Flagship smartphone. The Liquid Jade Primo comes with a curved metallic rear finish and a curved Gorilla Glass up front to give a nice premium look and feel to the device.

For those unaware Acer had first showcased the smartphone at the IFA, Berlin last year. While Acer hasn't disclosed the US pricings yet, the Liquid Jade Primo is announced to retail in Europe at a price of $620 (Rs 40,300 approx.) The smartphone is also expected to hit the India market soon later this year.
