Taiwanese manufacturer Acer was tipped to launch four new budget Windows Phone at the IFA, Berlin. Apparently though it seems like the leaks weren't exactly true. The new leaks hint that Acer is planning to launch not only Windows phones at the mega event but also Android smartphones.
One of the alleged device tipped to launch is the Acer Liquid Z630. The device first appeared via the GFX database, but not much was known then. Finally though we have some concrete information on the upcoming device, which hints at a 5.5 inch HD display with a Mediatek 1.3GHz quad core SoC. Since the GPU inside is mentioned as Mali T-720, analysts at Gizbot opine that the device is using none other than the MT6735. Further there is a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage.
The optics of the device are handled by an 8MP camera on the rear and the front! Add to that a 4000mAh battery. For connectivity the device will come with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 4G LTE support. The expected price is €200.
The Acer Z530 on the other hand features a 5 inch HD IPS display with near similar specifications of the Z630. It is in fact tipped to retail at around €140.
No details among the remaining two smartphones aren't known as of now. But we expect that at least one of those devices will run on Windows 10 Mobile.
