The new Apple iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus may have only recently reached the hands of customers, but there are already rumours about next year's iPhone 7 are beginning to circulate.

We will not see the Apple iPhone 7 until the fall of 2016, which is a quite a way off. Actually, we are too far from the iPhone 7 launch to know what the new device will look like, but there are more speculation that the Apple will continue its standard of introducing a more powerful, efficient smartphone.

No Home Button

Designer, Hasan Kaymak, came up with a concept video for the iPhone 7 featuring a number of innovative ideas including that Apple might remove a home button completely. The concept show a completely edge-to-edge display.

Water-Proof Design

Apple iPhone 6s and 6s Plus have significantly greater water resistance than their predecessors. Meanwhile, some tech experts believe that the Apple might include completely waterproof iPhone 7 in 2016.

Curved Design

Back in September, Apple has filed a patent application in the U.S. Patent and Trademark office. Apple called it as "Sidewall display". The image in the patent application shows a phone with a screen that stretches all the way around the device.

Wireless charging

Samsung, Sony and LG have already launched their smartphone with the ability to charge the smartphones wirelessly. While, Apple iPhone haven't been able to charge wirelessly because of its aluminium case.

Now, many rumours claims that a California-based technology company has filed application in U.S. Patent and Trademark to incorporate wireless charging in its next generation smartphones.

Intel Inside

According to a report by VentureBeat, the next iPhones could be powered by an Intel chipset. The report further says that, Apple might use two suppliers, including Intel and Qualcomm for its chips rather than just one.

OLED Display

According to the South Korea website ET News, Apple is looking to source for its next generation iPhone to rival Samsung. The main difference that the LCD display used in the current iPhones uses a backlight to illuminate their pixels, while OLED display creates light on their own.

Faster, better, stronger

The iPhone 7 is rumoured to be powered by a hexa-core processor, which will make the device significantly faster than the iPhone 6s and the 6s Plus.
