Apple launched the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus recently and both of them were criticised severely to be just an underwhelming iteration of their respective predecessors. And the removal of essential features one would want on a smartphone such as a headphone jack made things only worse for the Cupertino giant.
Until it brings more innovation to the table, people won’t stop questioning its liability for being the innovative company it was previously.
Having said that, Apple is expected to deliver something big in 2017 which marks the 10th Anniversary of the iPhone.
If rumours are to be believed true, the iPhone 8 could be something which may put Apple back on the same track that the company seem to have lost somewhere between the launch of Apple iPhone 6 and the iPhone 7.
Recently, we’ve reported that the iPhone 8 will be launched in not two but three size variants with a 5-inch iPhone variant joining the family. In addition, it is rumoured to go back to the glass and metal sandwich design as first seen on the iPhone 4 and 4s variants along with the curved display.
Now rumour has it that the next generation of iPhones will feature an OLED display with an almost bezel-less body (something similar to the recently launched Xiaomi Mi Mix) with the fingerprint sensor embedded under the display itself.
Also, the latest rumour indicates that the iPhone 8 could finally get support for wireless charging — something which has been in talks for a while now. All these features put together make the next iPhone a phone worth waiting for. Do let us know what you think about the iPhone 8 in the comments.
