The company said that that the company has found some manufacturing fault in some iPhone 6 Plus units that were sold between September, 2014, and January, 2015, due to which the affected phones are producing blurry images. Hence, the company is offering free replacement of the iSight camera for such models. Apple however is claiming that only a small percentage of iPhone models have been affected by this fault.

As per the company, the issue of blur images has been caused by some faulty components inside the camera on the iPhone 6 Plus. The company also assures that the problem does not extend to the iPhone 6.
Here is how to check if your iPhone 6 Plus has the manufacturing fault.
1. For all those who have bought the Apple iPhone 6 Plus between the aforementioned time period, the company is offering this service via a dedicated website. One can go to the support page - https://www.apple.com/support/iphone6plus-isightcamera/
2. You can now key in you iPhone's serial number in order to check if your iPhone 6 Plus is faulty.
Note: In case you don't know how to get your phone's serial number, go to the Settings option in your iPhone 6 Plus, then go to General, and then to About to find the serial number. Now, you can hold on the number to copy it, and then can paste it into Apple registration or support forms.
3. If the site shows that your phone is affected, you can go to Apple authorized service provider, or to its retail store, or contact Apple's technical support. The company will examine if your iPhone is eligible for this program, and will then take it forward accordingly.
