Archos Unveiled Diamond Note 2 Smartphone with Octa-Core CPU, 3GB RAM Ahead of MWC 2016

Following the announcement of Oxygen series, Archos has unveiled its new flagship smartphone under Diamond series. Dubbed as Diamond 2 Note, this device will go on sale from May, meanwhile, it will be showcased in the upcoming MWC 2016 starting from February 22 to 25th in Barcelona, Spain.

Moving on, this device sports a 6-inch Quad HD IPS Full lamination 2.5D display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 2GHz MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795) Octa-Core 64-bit processor with PowerVR G6200 as GPU.

Moreover on the storage front, the Diamond Note 2 comes with 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM with expandable option up to 128GB via microSD card. This dual SIM is shipped with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

Talking about the imaging factor, the Diamond 2 Note features a 16MP rear camera with dual LED flash and also capable of recording 4K video recording. On the front, this device has 8MP front facing camera with wide angle lens.

Other features include Infrared LED for Remote Support, Smart PA sound amplification support along with connectivity option such as 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS. The Diamond Note 2 is powered by a 3610mAh battery with Fast Charging technology.

Meanwhile, the Archos Diamond Note 2 will be available in Silver color variant.
