Elephone to Launch Auxus Prime P8000 Smartphone in India Later This Month

Another Chinese handset maker Elephone has tied up with iberry's Auxus to launch its P8000 smartphone in the India market dubbed as Auxus PRIME P8000. This device will be available exclusively on the e-retailer Snapdeal by the end of this August.

Elephone Ties-Up with Auxus to Launch Auxus PRIME P8000 on Snapdeal

In its official blog, the company said, "Auxus PRIME P8000 is a specially customized version of Elephone P8000 for Indian Customers with the support of all the Indian frequencies and bands, especially 4G LTE TDD B40 with 2300MHz frequency."

Auxus PRIME P8000 - Key Specifications

Auxus PRIME P8000, sports a 5.5-inch OGS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is clocked at 1.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor with Mali-T720 GPU besides 3GB RAM under the hood.

Moving on, this device comes with 16GB of native memory, with an expansion option via microSD card slot. Talking about the storage, P8000 is shipped with Android 5.0 Lollipop and can be upgradeable to Android M.

Further, on the imaging factor, this device is equipped with 13MP auto focus camera with LED Flash, Samsung CMOS sensor, 5MP front-facing camera. It also comes with Fingerprint sensor for security purpose.

On the connectivity, this device has 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS support, dual SIM. It is powered by a 4165mAh battery on board.
