EXCLUSIVE: Huawei P8 Lite smartphone, MediaPad T1 7, MediaPad T1 8 Pro tablets coming in August
Huawei in India is all set to launch the P8 Lite smartphone along with MediaPad T1 7 and MediaPad T1 8 Pro tablets in August 2015. These devices will be available offline, via well known retailers such as Croma, Sangeetha and more.

Gizbot got the exclusive shots of these yet to be launched P8 Lite smartphone, and MediaPad T1 7 and MediaPad T1 8 Pro tablets at an exclusive dealer's meet that took place in Bangalore.The China-based company introduced these products to dealers in India, and will be launching them in the market either in July end or first week of August.

Huawei will be unveiling the P8 Lite as its mid-range offering in August. The P8 Lite is essentially a toned down version of Huawei's flagship P8 smartphone. In terms of specs, the P8 Lite features a 5-inch FWVGA display with 854x480 pixels resolution, a 1.2GHz Hisilicon Kirin 620 octa-core chipset ()quad-core 1.5 + quad-core 1.0) with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The phone sports 13-megapixel rear camera coupled with 5-megapixel CMOS front-facing camera. It supports 4G LTE and dual-SIM, and is powered by a 2000mAH battery. The phone will be priced under Rs 20,000.
The Mediapad T1 7 tablet is a 7-inch 3G tablet that comes with an IPS WSVGA display with 600x1024 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex A7 chipset with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. It has dual 2-megapixel cameras on front and rear. The rear camera has fixed focus. Taking of software, the phone runs Android 4.4 Kitkat wrapped under the EMUI 3.0 version. Connectivity options include of 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS/ AGPS. The tablet runs on 4100mAh battery.
The MediaPad T1 8 Pro, on the other hand, has an 8-inch HD display offering 1280x800 pixels resolution. It is powered by a MSM 8916 Cortex A53 quad-core chipset with 64-bit architecture, paired with 1GB of RAM and 8/16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB on microSD card. It runs on Android 4.4 with EMUI 2.3 version and support CAT4 4G network. The tablet measures 7.9mm in thickness and weighs in at 360g. It has a 4800mAh battery.

Both the tablets will be priced around Rs 7,500, and will be available offline via Croma, Sangeetha and more.
