Follow These Steps to Turn on Night Mode in Your Nexus Device After Android 7.0 Nougat Update
Recently, the search engine giant Google has started rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Nexus devices with a fair amount of improvements and enhancements.
For the uninitiated, the Android 7. Nougat is the 7th installment in Android operating system. The first beta release was launched on March 9 earlier this year.

Google has worked on this edition and has brought some much-needed features including the ability to display multiple apps on-screen at once in a split-screen view, support for inline replies to notifications, as well as an OpenJDK-based Java environment and support for the Vulkan graphics rendering API, and "seamless" system updates on supported devices.
Amidst several features, one of the most interesting options is the "Night Mode", which we saw in Xiaomi mobiles as 'Read Mode" and in Apple as "Night Shift".
What is the buzz about Read Mode?
Basically, if you turn on the read mode, some parts of the display backlight spectrum are switched off. As per the research from Harvard university, reading from the light emitting device just before bed can
spoil the sleep quality. This is because of the blue color waves from the spectrum stimulate your brain and do not let you sleep.
Now, in the final version of Android 7.0 Nougat, you won't be able to see the night mode! It's not that, they removed it, but it's hidden.
If you own a Nexus mobile and didn;t find the night mode, worry not! Just head on to Google Play Store and download the "Night Mode Enabler" by Mike Evans. After the installation, just tap the " Enable Night mode".

Once enabled, this feature will be back on the Notification tile or Quick tile, that was tucked away in the System UI Tuner! In case, if your System UI turner is not enabled, you need to do that by holding on
to the setting icon in the notification shade for about 10 seconds.
