Google Partners with Infinix in Africa to Launch Android One Smartphone in 6 African countries

Google has expanded its Android One project to Africa. Regarding this, the search engine giant has collaborated with hardware manufacturer Infinix to launch the Infinix Hot 2 Android One devices in 6 African countries including Egypt, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Morocco and Nigeria.

Infinix Hot 2 X510 - Key Specifications

Infinix Hot 2 X510, sports a 5-inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-Core MediaTek processor along with 1GB/2GB RAM under the hood.

Moving on, this device comes with 16GB of built-in memory, with an expandable option up to 32GB via microSD card slot. The dual SIM mobile comes with 8MP rear camera with BSI sensor, LED Flash, 2MP front-facing camera.

This device runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and supports connectivity options such as 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio. It is powered by a 2200mAh battery.

The Infinix Hot 2 X510 will be available in White, Black, Red, Blue colors at a price of N17,500 ( approx Rs. 5,750) for the 1GB RAM variant and N19,500 (approx Rs. 6,400 approx) for the 2GB RAM variant.
