Honor has just announced a new smartphone called Honor 5 in China. This is a budget smartphone with 4G connectivity support.

Honor 5 is priced at 599 Yuan (approx. Rs 6,000) and it comes in White, Black and Gold color options. It will go on sale in China from tomorrow, August 2.

Honor 5 Specs

Honor 5 is fitted with a 5-inch HD 720p display and it is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor that is paired with Mali-T720 graphics and 2 GB RAM. There is 16 GB of native storage space that can be expanded up to 128 GB using a micro SD card.

Running on Android 5.1 Lollipop topped with Emotion UI 3.1 Lite, this smartphone has an 8 MP main snapper with dual LED flash, and a 2 MP front-facer that also has LED flash. The other goodies on board the Honor 5 smartphone include 4G VoLTE, and a 2,200 mAh battery. It is a dual SIM smartphone with dedicated micro SD and second SIM card slots.

Honor 5 Easy Key

The Honor 5 smartphone features an easy key on its left that can be set to launch apps as you long press on it. Also, the easy key helps in launching the flashlight with a double, the camera with a single press, and more.
