As promised, the Chinese handset maker, Huawei has launched its flagship device dubbed as Honor 7 at its event in Delhi. Initially, this device was launched in China back in June and later in European countries. The Chinese company had first brought the Honor series of device last year and since them it has fared quite well.
Huawei launched the Honor as an independent smartphone brand to target the internet savvy consumers and mobile generation. The Honor sub-brand is a digital brand that follows the online retail model in order to reach the masses.
Huawei Honor 7 - Key Specifications
Huawei Honor 7, sports a 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by a Octa-Core Huawei Kirin 935 processor (4xA53 2.2GHz + 4xA53 1.5GHz) with Mali-T628 MP4 GPU besides 3GB RAM under the hood.
On the storage side, this device comes with 16GB/64GB of inbuilt memory, with an expandable option of up to 128GB via microSD card. In terms of software, it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop on top of Emotion UI 3.1 and Android L version upgrade will be available for Honor 7 by end of this year.
Talking about the camera front, Honor 7 features a 20MP camera with Sony IMX230 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 6P lenses and dual-tone LED flash, 8MP front-facing camera, f/2.0 aperture, BSI Sensor, LED flash. Other camera features includes Timelapse option, Good food mode filter, Knuckle screenshot.
Further, this device comes with Honor smart key, which can be Single Tapped, Double Tapped or Long Pressed to Access Functions.
Moving on, the Honor 7 includes connectivity options like 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack, IR LED. The whole hardware is powered by a 3100mAh battery on board with Smart Power 3.0, Fast charging features.
The Huawei Honor 7 will be available in Mystery Gray and Fantasy Silver colors at a price of Rs. 22,999. Moreover, it will be available from October 15th on the e-retailer Flipkart.
