HTC announces One A9 smartphone with 5-inch Display and all metal body
HTC has announced One A9, the first device in the A series smartphones by the company. It comes with a 5-inch full HD AMOLED display, and is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 617 processor that runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow accompanied by the HTC Sense UI to top it.
The One A9 has a 13 mp rear camera with LED flash and comes with improved image capture technologies like phase-detection auto-focus to improve camera focus.
The cameras Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) ensures that any accidental shaking of the device does not deter image quality. The rear camera enables RAW image capture while the front-facing Ultrapixel camera allows users to click the best selfies.
Its multi-directional fingerprint sensor integrated into the home button makes it safer to make payments with the new, Android Pay.

Connectivity options include 4G LTE connectivity with support for TDD: Bands 38, 40, 41 in the phones meant for Asia. The speakers on the bottom come with a built-in DAC that can deliver a powerful audio of 192kHz / 24bit sound resembling one like a studio.
Key specifications of the smartphone
The 5.0-inch full HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with 2.5D Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 617 (4 x 1.5GHz + 4 x 1.2GHz) processor with Adreno 405 GPU along with 2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage along with 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage with an expandable memory up to 2TB with microSD.
The One A9 comes in a size of 145.75 x 70.8 x 7.26mm and Weighs 143g. It has a Multi-directional fingerprint sensor that add to its features. The phone also comes with NFC that enables users to pay wirelessly.
However, the battery is only a 2150mAh battery that runs on Quick Charge 3.0. The phone also resembles the Apple iPhone 6, making it even more fashionable to own one.
The HTC One A9 comes in colors of Carbon Gray, Opal Silver, Topaz Gold and Deep Garnet and will roll out globally from the first week of November. However, prices will vary according to region. The phone will also be sold in an unlocked version in the US that allows users to unlock the boot-loader without being void of warranty.
The unlocked version of the HTC One A9 3GB RAM with 32GB storage is currently available for pre-order in the US at a limited period pre-order price of $399.99.
