HTC Butterfly 3 smartphone with Dual Camera Set-Up, Snapdragon 810 CPU Announced

Taiwan-based handset maker, HTC has announced the international variant of Butterfly 3 smartphone with a codename HTV31. This device comes with IPX7 ratings for dust and water resistance. Initially, this device will go on sale in Taiwan starting from October 20.

HTC Butterfly 3 - Key Specifications

HTC Butterfly 3, features a 5.2-inch Quad HD display with 1440 x 2560 pixels. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 Octa-Core with Adreno 430 GPU clubbed with 3GB RAM under the hood.

This high-end device from HTC comes equipped with 32GB of internal memory, with an expansion option of upto 2TB via microSD card.

Interestingly, the company has opted for dual camera setup for this device with 20MP rear camera with dual LED Flash, sapphire cover lens, BSI sensor, f/2.2, 27.8mm lens, 4K video recording, while the Secondary rear camera is used to capture depth information.

On the front, this device has 13MP front-facing camera with BSI sensor, f/2.0, 28.2mm lens, 1080p video recording. In terms of software, the Butterfly 3 is shipped with the latest Android Lollipop with HTC Sense 7 UI.

Featuring a dual front-facing stereo speakers with Dolby Audio, this device also supports connectivity options such as 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/ac/b/g/n (2.4 and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, MHL 3.0, NFC, and GPS with GLONASS. The above hardware is powered by a 2700mAh battery.
