Google is expected to take the wraps off two new Nexus smartphones in the coming months. It is also believed that the company's new products will be launched in partnership with HTC.
Rumors have also suggested that unlike last year, 2016's Nexus devices will have similar hardware. However, what really seems interesting is that the rumored Nexus Sailfish and Marlin will boast more powerful internals than ever. In fact, the upcoming Nexus 2016 are expected to be the most powerful flagship Android devices, which is something we really look forward to!
Unlike previous version, this year's Nexus handsets could take the competition level a notch higher, as these are touted to be the real flagship killers.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset on board!
Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset was considered the most powerful CPU, until it announced the Snapdragon 821 processor a few days back. The new chipset is believed to be faster and more battery efficient than the Snapdragon 820, which has been seen on most of the top smartphones and flagship phones of 2016. Considering this, we might see the new Snapdragon chipset powering the HTC-made 2016 Nexus handsets. Rumors have it that the Sd821 will also power the Galaxy Note 7 smartphone.
