HTC to Launch a 'Handsome' Flagship Smartphone on September 6
Taiwanese maker HTC fortunes hasn't been quite well in recent past. The company's existing flagship HTC One M9 failed to achieve HTC's expected sales number. The market hasn't been quite friendly for the company too. Samsung and LG pulled off two successful flagship models this year and it resulted in a crash in HTC sales figure.
Nevertheless it seems like the company has something new in the making! And guess what it's likely to come with an all new design language. Many a prospective customers are happy to hear this - the all metal curved body design has become kind of boring. The company officially posted a teaser in Weibo stating that they are going to release a ‘handsome' phone on September 6th.

This isn't quite a surprise though as the upcoming phone was first teased by none other than the company's CEO Cher Wang back in June. She had revealed a launch date of somewhere around October. But going by the recent company teaser it seems like HTC is in a hurry to desperately regain some market share.
Previous leaks suggest that the to-be launched HTC device is codenamed the HTC Aero/A9. Tipsters hint at a QHD (2560x1440) with Gorilla Glass 4 and 2.5D Curved Edges. Under the hood will be the Mediatek Helio X20 deca core SoC and a Mali T880 MP4 GPU! If the rumours do come out to be true, HTC truly has a winner in their hands.

A few days back a set of hands on images of the HTC Aero made its appearance. Sadly though the device looks kind of ‘iPhonish' - thanks to the back. However let's not be cynical as of now. But one thing is for sure -it's now or never for the company in this highly competitive smartphones market. Can the HTC Aero truly become the ‘Hero' for the company?
