Honor 5X comes with a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 616 chipset to give a powerpacked performance, whereas the OnePlus X is powered by Snapdragon 801 SoC. Both phones have 16GB of internal storage with support for a microSD card of up to 128GB capacity.

In the camera department, Honor 5X packs in a 13MP snapper with f/2.0, 1080p resolution video and slow motion video recording at 720p at 120fps, and SmartImage 3.0 image processor. The OnePlus X on the other hand features a 13MP ISOCELL sensor with f/2.2 and 1080p resolution video resolution.

Huawei's Honor 5X runs Android Lollipop wrapped under the company's own EMUI 3.1, which brings extra features and software customizations on board. The OnePlus X also runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, however with OxygenOS UI.

Huawei Honor 5X is backed by a 3000mAh battery that can last for a day on a full charge, as per the company claims. The OnePlus X, on the other hand, has a smaller battery of 2525mAh capacity. Bigger battery seems to give more power and last longer than the smaller one. Hence, Honor 5X scores an extra point in this segment.

Which phone is budget friendly!

The Honor 5X is the company's take on its rivals' budget offerings in the market. It is a good package of specs, features and looks, at an aggressive price point of Rs 12,999. In comparison, the OnePlus X was launched for a price of Rs 16,999 for 16GB version, which is much higher than the Honor 5X.
