China-based handset maker Huawei has launched its new smartphone dubbed as Huawei Maimang 5 with metal unibody.

Talking about the specifications of the smartphone, this smartphone sports a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels translating into a 401 ppi.

Moreover, this smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor built on 14nm architecture clocked at 2.0GHz. In terms of storage, the Maimang 5 comes in two variants -- 3GB RAM/32GB inbuilt storage and 4GB RAM/64GB inbuilt storage. Users can expand the storage up to 128GB via MicroSD card slot.

The camera department of this smartphone is backed by a 16MP rear camera with a capability of recording 4K videos at 30fps. On the front it has 8MP camera wide-angle lens. Further, this smartphone is shipped with Android 6.0 Marshmallow based EMUI 4.1. The device supports connectivity options includes -- Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/A-GPS, USB OTG, and USB 2.0 Type-C port.

The above hardware is backed by 3340mAh battery under the hood. Coming in Champagne Gold, Moonlight Silver, Rose Gold variants, the Huawei Maimang 5 carries a price tag of 2399 Yuan (approx Rs. 24,000) for 3GB and 2599 Yuan (approx Rs. 26,000) for 4GB RAM.
