Most probably you are already aware of the upcoming Huawei Mate device that is scheduled to launch at IFA on 2nd September. Apparently the upcoming phablet flagship offering from the Chinese makers was leaked a few hours back in a number of hands on images which clearly show the length and the breadth of the real device.
According to the latest reports the Huawei Mate S is supposed to sport a Force Touch Display along with an all metal body. The device had first appeared in real life images at TENAA certification leaks. But the recent hands on images give a much clear and better view.
In fact the leaksters had shot the images of the upcoming phablet alongside the popular iPhone 6. Going by the Mate lineage, Huawei has indeed designed the device like a big phablet. It carries a rather big full metal footprint with a rear camera and fingerprint sensor on the back of the device. The leaked images in fact are similar to the ones seen at the TENAA and this further emphasizes the credibility of the leak.
The Mate S is tipped to pack a 6 inch Quad HD (2560x1440) Force Touch display with Kirin 950 octa core SoC under the hood. The RAM is said to either 3GB/4GB, whereas the optics would consist of 20.7MP and 8MP rear and front cameras respectively. On the connectivity front it would support LTE Cat.6 along with a massive 4,500 mAh battery, and a brand new Emotion 4.0 UI on top of Android Lollipop.
Special thanks to Khaled Almoghrabi for the leaked images!
