Huawei P20 and P20 Plus 3D renders and key features leaked

Huawei's upcoming smartphones have been leaked on several occasions and with what we have seen so far we pretty much have a good idea of what the new smartphones will look like and what they will be bringing. As such the Chinese handset maker is reportedly going to launch three new smartphones dubbed as Huawei P20, Huawei P20 Plus, and Huawei P20 Lite.

And talking about the launch, Huawei will skip MWC 2018 and probably announce the devices at a separate event in Paris on March 27. However as it with any new smartphones, new leaks and rumors are bound to appear before the official launch.

Having said that, new 3D renders of Huawei's upcoming smartphones have now surfaced online and these renders do reveal the design elements and some specifications. Huawei P20 series will likely sport high-end camera setup and full-screen displays.

Today's leaks have been provided by popular tipster OnLeaks who seem to have worked with TigerMobiles to bring the 3D renders of Huawei's next-gen flagships. On closely analyzing the renders, well it pretty much confirms previous rumors as well as leaks where we have seen that the Huawei P20 and Huawei P20 Plus will be equipped three cameras on the back, with a vertical setup. However, the third variant P20 Lite will most probably feature a dual camera setup.

Apart from that, looking at the smartphone, there appears to be a bezel-less display which will probably have an aspect ratio of 18:9. The P20 is expected to sport a 5.7-inch (approx) display, while the P20 Plus could feature a bigger 6-inch display.

Moving on, there is a USB Type-C port with two speaker grills. Quite interestingly there seems to be a home button present on the bottom bezel which could double as a fingerprint scanner. While most of the brands are ditching away the physical home button but Huawei seems to have stuck with the design.

While earlier it was said that the upcoming ill have a 3.5mm audio port but the new renders suggest that the entire range might not come with a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device is seen to have dual selfie cameras as well. That is pretty much we can make out from today's leak.

In another instance, XDA Developers have also just reported that Huawei P20 and PP20 Plus will get a 3320mAh and 4000mAh batteries respectively. The report also notes that the device will likely feature a new Point Cloud Depth camera technology and one of the devices P20 Plus will have an always on display. Both the handset are said to come with Huawei's latest HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC and Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.1 out of the box.
