InFocus M808 with 5.2 inch FHD Display and Metal Body launched at Rs 12,999
InFocus has added a new member to its flagship M8 series with the launch of the InFocus M808 exclusively via Snapdeal. Taking a cue from the earlier launch M812, the new Infocus M808 makes a style statement right out of the box thanks to its all anodized aluminum unibody design. Apparently the Infocus M808 was first showcased back in October but it hadn't gone till today.
Infocus M808 sports a 5.2 inch Full HD (1920x1080p) display upfront. Under the hood the metal clad smartphone is powered by a 64bit enabled 1.3GHz octa core MediaTek 6753 SoC. This is complimented by a 2GB RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. There's also an option for memory expansion via MicroSD card slot (upto 128GB).

According to the company the metal used has gone through over 1,000 CNC cuts and unique 3D cutting processes to give M808 its lustrous metallic body which is just 7.56 mm slim with perfect smooth curves. The back of the Infocus M808 sports a 13MP rear camera equipped with a LED Flash while the front features a 5MP unit.
For an exceptional acoustics experience, InFocus M808 comes with the NXP Smart AMP Technology that optimizes sound quality and reduces background noise to produce soothing and crystal clear sound. The full metal housing on InFocus M808 comes with TAS (Transmit Antenna Switch) technology, which ensures perfect antenna performance, no matter how one holds the device.

Furthermore the Infocus M808 comes with a 2450mAh battery and runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 with the company's own InLife UI on top.
Speaking on the launch, Sachin Thapar, Country Head, InFocus India, said, "The kind of overwhelming consumer response we received for our last flagship launch of M812 reaffirmed our belief that today's style conscious smartphone users are looking for a device which sets them apart from the crowd, with an aspiring design and stellar performance. Full metal design is undoubtedly the true benchmark for premium looks and with InFocus M808, we have yet again accomplished the best in the category design with a delightful performance.
The InFocus M808 comes in Silver and Golden colours and is priced at Rs 12,999 on Snapdeal.
