Intex launches Aqua Young with 5” display at Rs. 5,090

Intex has introduced a new budget smartphone in the 5K range The Intex Aqua Young has been listed on the company website. The phone is yet to be available in the Indian market and would be available in the coming days. The phone is priced at Rs. 5,090 that is roughly at about 5K.

The Intex Aqua Young is a GSM dual-SIM smartphone running on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. It comes with a 5-inch FWVGA IPS display with a resolution of 480x854 pixels. The handset also sports Corning Gorilla Glass.

The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731) processor with 1GB of DDR2 RAM. It has a inbuilt storage of 8GB of inbuilt memory that is expandable to 32 GB via microSD card.

The Aqua Young has a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash, and a secondary 0.3 MP front-facing camera. Both the primary and secondary cameras in the Aqua Young have a fixed focus. The phone's connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options.

The smartphone is powered by a 2500mAh battery that can give up to 10 hours of talk time and 250 hours of standby time. The Intex Aqua Young measures 145.3x72x9.5mm and weighs 158 grams. Listed on the Intex website, the phone will be available in Champagne, Dark Grey, and White colours.

The Aqua Play is priced at Rs. 3,249. The smartphone is also listed on the company's website details like specifications and pricing. The phone was listed for availability in Black, Blue, and White colour variants, running the Android 5.1 Lollipop, something that is not seen in devices at this pricepoint. The GSM dual-SIM supporting smartphone features a 4-inch TFT display with a WVGA with a resolution of 480x800 pixels. The handset is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core MediaTek processor clubbed with 512MB of RAM.
