Intex Cloud 3G Candy, Cloud 3G Gem Budget smartphones launched starting at Rs 2,999
Intex has now launched two new budget smartphones dubbed the Cloud 3G Candy and Cloud 3G Gem in India, priced at Rs 2,999 and Rs 3,599 respectively.
Both the Intex smartphones feature a 4 inch display upfront with a resolution of 800x480p and are powered by a 1GHz single core Spreadtrum chipset. It's however worth noting that the Cloud 3G Candy and Cloud 3G Gem are powered by two different variant of Spreadtrum SoC namely SC7715 and SC7731G. This difference also creeps onto the RAM department as the Intex Cloud Candy 3G comes with a 256MB RAM as compared to the 512MB in the Cloud Gem.

In terms of cameras both the smartphone feature a 2MP rear and a 0.3MP VGA camera front camera. The rear camera on both the phones are accompanied by an LED Flash. Apart from these both the smartphones feature a 1400mAH removable battery and a MicroSD Card slot (with support upto 32GB).
Connectivity features of the smartphones include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, GPRS/EDGE. It worth mentioning that the dual SIM smartphone supports 3G only on one SIM (first) while the other can support only 2G networks.

Available in Black, Champagne and Silver colours the smartphone running on Android KitKat 4.4 out of the box will soon go on sale via offline retail stores across the country.
