Intex Cloud Tread 3G smartphone with hexa-core chipset launched for Rs 4,999: Key Specs and features
Intex has launched yet another budget smartphone under its 'Cloud' series. The company has added the Intex Cloud Tread 3G smartphone, priced at Rs 4,999, to cater to the budget conscious consumers. The phone will be exclusively available via Snapdeal, under a flash sale model. The registration window for the first flash sale has already opened, for a sale that will happen on August 30 at 12:00PM.
As far as the specs are concerned, the key highlight of the Intex Cloud Tread is that it brings hexa-core processor for a price of Rs 4,999, which is rear for this price range. However, it lacks 4G connectivity.

The Intex Cloud Tread 3G phone features a 5-inch HD display with 720p resolution. It has a hexa-core chipset paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, expandable using a microSD card. In the photography department, it flaunts a 5MP rear camera as well as a 5MP front facing snapper.
To take care of the power back up, the phone brings a 2,200mAh battery that should last for a day of mixed use. Speaking of the connectivity options, the Intex Cloud Tread features dual-SIM card slots, and supports 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. On the software front, it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.

At a price of Rs 4,999, the phone will face tough competition from the likes of the Reliance Digital LYF Flame 5 that is priced at Rs 3,999.
