Lava Iris Alfa Started Tasting Android 5.0 Lollipop Update

Noida head-quartered handset company Lava, has started rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Iris Alfa device.
Users will get the update via OTA (Over-the-Air). Also, you can check manually by going to Menu → Settings → About Phone → System Updates.

This update comes with a new material design which offers a bold, colorful and responsive UI design, refreshing notification system.

It allows the users to see the notification on the lock screen and heads up notification are displayed like banners on the top of the screen. Moreover, there is do-not-disturb feature also added in the notification bar.

This update also contains battery optimization, which includes battery saver mode, job scheduling and a new developer tool called Battery Historian which tracks the battery consumption by the apps.

Reiterating the specs of the device, Iris Alfa sports a 5-inch FWVGA display, clocked at 1.2GHz quad-core processor 1GB RAM, 8GB native storage, expandable up to 32GB, 5MP rear camera, VGA camera, 2200mAh battery.
