Lava Pixel V2 Special Edition smartphone launched for Rs 11,050 for limited period
Indian smartphone company, Lava has launched a limited edition variant of the Pixel V2 smartphone that was launched a few weeks back. The Pixel V2 limited edition variant flaunts a prism-finish design with Blue colour chassis, and is priced at Rs 11,050 in India. The Pixel V2 smartphone is has been launched especially for the festive season in India, and will be available for a limited period of November and December. Here are details of the phone's specs and features.
The Pixel V2 limited edition smartphone feature is a 4G-LTE enabled device. It features a 5-inch HD 720p IPS display with a scratch resistant Dragon trail Glass. It weighs in at 128gms. As for its processor, the phone is powered by MediaTek chipset with quad-core and 64-bit architecture, coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The native storage space can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card. It runs Android Lollipop 5.1 wrapped under Star OS 2.0 version. In terms of connectivity, it supports dual 4G SIM slots with dual standby mode, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS/AGPS. To power the phone, there is a 2500mAh Li-Po battery under the hood.

Speaking of camera, the Pixel V2 sports a 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash and an 8MP front-facing camera with LED flash for selfies lovers. The camera sensor has 1.4 micron large pixel size, with F2.0 rear sensor aperture, whereas the front camera has F2.4 aperture. Additionally, the company claims that the "camera comes with 5 layer LarganTM lens in rear camera and 4 layer LarganTM lens in front camera along with Blue Glass Filter that cuts off infrared light to help the sensor reproduce true life-like colours."
The camera gets additional support from software features including editing tools and modes such as Wide Selfie, Bokeh Mode, Face Beauty, GIF Maker and Night Pro.

At this price point, the Lava Pixel V2 will be up against the recently launched Micromax Canvas 5, which is the company's latest flagship phone that is priced for Rs 11,990.
