Yesterday, Lenovo has launched the P series of Vibe smartphone with huge batteries. Both these smartphones will be available exclusively from Flipkart. Registration for the sale starts at 6 PM yesterday.

Lenovo Vibe P1 - Key Specifications

Lenovo Vibe P1, sports a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) processor with Adreno 405 GPU besides 2GB RAM under the hood.

Moving on to the storage, this device comes with 32GB of built-in memory and expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. Shipped with Android 5.1 LollipopOS, this device flaunts a 13MP rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, PDAF, 5MP front-facing camera under the hood.

Other specifications include, Fingerprint scanner, Dual nano SIM and connectivity options including 4G LTE / 3G, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS. The above hardware is powered by a 5000mAh battery.

This device comes with a huge 5000mAh battery under the hood. The Lenovo Vibe P1 has 24W quick charge function that can rapidly charge the 2000mAh of phone's battery in just 30 minutes. It also has a OneKey Power Saver switch on side to improve the battery life.

The so-called Vibe P1 comes with 32GB of internal memory, with an expansion of up to 128GB via microSD card.

At this price point, the Vibe P1 comes equipped with Fingerprint sensor for security purpose, which is pretty good.

The Lenovo Vibe P1 comes shipped with the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box. As of now, there is no information about the Android 6.0 update.

Even though the camera specs is not great, it comes with the decent 13MP rear camera with dual tone LED flash, 5MP front camera on board.

The bigger battery add to the bulk and weight of the device. In times when anorexia is common in mobiles, this phone is pretty thick at 9.9mm and weighs heavier at 189 grams.

The Vibe P1 has nano-coating on its innards, which saves it from accidental water splashes but doesn't make it water proof. It lacks IP68 rating.
