Lenovo has sent out invites for the launch of their selfie centric smartphone dubbed the Vibe S1. Introduced at IFA, Berlin a few months back the highlight of the Lenovo Vibe S1 lied in the dual front camera setup.
According to the invite the Lenovo Vibe S1 will launch on the 23rd of November. Recently Lenovo officials had showcased their brands portfolio alongside future products in an event in the Delhi. The Lenovo Vibe S1 sports a 5 inch Full HD (1920x1080p) display upfront along with a dual front camera setup on the top. As per the company statement the 8MP + 2MP front camera duo offers crisp images with advance depth of field including background blur and background swap effect.
The Lenovo Vibe S1 is powered by an octa core MediaTek 6752 SoC and 3GB of RAM. In terms of memory the Vibe S1 sports 32GB of onboard storage along with slot for Memory Expansion. On the back of the device is a 13MP rear camera which comes equipped with PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus), BSI Sensor and LED Flash.
In terms of connectivity the Vibe S1 comes with Dual Nano SIM slot along with the regular set of A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi b/g/n/ac. As expected from a phone launched at the far end of 2015, the Lenovo Vibe S1 supports 4G LTE and runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 with the company's own Vibe UI on top. Furthermore the device is powered by a modest 2500mAh battery.
The Lenovo Vibe S1 which comes in two colour variants - Pearl White and Midnight Blue - is priced at $299 i.e. Rs 19,500. Hence expect Lenovo to price it around Rs 20,000 in India.
