Lenovo to launch its camera-centric smartphone, Vibe Shot, in India in just a few hours from now. The company is hosting a digital launch event for its latest smartphone.
The launch event will go live today at 12:00 pm on Lenovo's official YouTube channel. The Lenovo Vibe Shot was originally unveiled at MWC 2015 in Barcelona, back in March. Now the company will launch the smartphone in the Indian market.
As the name suggests, the smartphone flaunts a great camera. It boasts 16 megapixel primary camera with Tricolor flash, BSI sensor that allows to capture high quality ture-color photos even in low light conditions. The camera also features infrared autofocus that is claimed to focus two-times faster than normal autofocus.
Lenovo Vibe Shot - Key Specifications
The Lenovo Vibe Shot, sports a 5 inch FHD IPS display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. It is powered by a 1.7GHz 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor along with 3GB RAM and runs on Android Lollipop 5.0 out of the box.
On the camera front, it has 16 megapixel rear camera with infrared autofocus, tricolor flash, with six-piece lens, Optical Image Stabilization and a Backside Illuminated sensor. The auto-focus features in the smartphone offers double focusing speed (compared to normal autofocus) and the tricolor flash automatically adjusts the luminosity of the images based on the ambient light.
Moreover, it has a dedicated physical camera button along with Smart preset settings and advanced Pro settings, which can be switch with the flick of a switch. This device measures 7.3mm thickness and weighs 145grams.
