LG Announces K8 Smartphone with 5-inch Display, Android 6.0 Marshmallow

It seems LG is on a roll! Following the launch of LG X series and Stylus 2, today LG has announced another device dubbed as LG K8. This device carries a codename K350N, which is shipped with the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow and a curved arc display as well.

Moving on, this device sports a 5-inch In-cell Touch IPS display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels and 2.5D glass. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor with Mali-T720 GPU under the hood.

On the storage department, this device is equipped with 1.5GB RAM, 8GB of inbuilt memory, with an expansion option via microSD card slot. Talking about the software, this device is shipped with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

The camera of LG K8 is taken care of 8MP sensor on the back with LED flash, 5MP front-facing camera on board. Meanwhile, the LG K8 measures 8.7mm thickness and weighs around 156grams.

Also, it supports connectivity options such as 4G LTE / 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC. The hardware of K8 is powered by a 2045mAh battery under the hood. As of now, the LG K8 will be available in Blue and White color variant and can be showcased at the MWC 2016.
