LG Announces Stylus 2 Smartphone with 13MP Camera, Android 6.0 OS

Following the launch of new X series of smartphones, LG has announced the successor of last year's G4 Stylus ahead of Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016. Dubbed as Stylus 2, this device comes with usual stylus pen but the new nano-coated up promises more accuracy compared to the previous rubber-tipped pen.

As per the company, "The new Calligraphy Pen font will let you write as beautifully and decoratively as if using a fountain pen." Moreover, this device comes with Pen Pop feature which toggles the pop-up menu when the stylus is removed.

On the specification front, the LG Stylus 2 sports a 5.7-inch HD IPS in-cell touch display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. It is clocked at 1.2 GHz quad-core processor besides 1.5GB LPDDR3 RAM.

Talking about the storage, this device is equipped with 16GB of inbuilt memory, with an expandable option via microSD card slot. Moving on, this device flaunts a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, 8MP front-facing camera. The LG Stylus 2 is shipped with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

The connectivity option is backed with 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC (optional). Further, the form factor measures 7.4mm thickness and weighs around 145grams. The above hardware is powered by a 3000mAh removable battery.

The LG Stylus 2 comes in Titan, White, Brown variants and will go on sale starting from March in Korea followed by the US, Europe and Asia. Anyhow, there is no information about the pricing, we are expecting more details in the upcoming days.
