Meizu Just Launched World’s First 10-core Smartphone!

Meizu has gained quite a substance in India in just 1 year. The Chinese smartphone maker has offered some beautiful looking handsets to the market in the past along with decent, affordable pricing.

Now, Meizu has just brought out its latest smartphone called the Meizu Pro 6, and it carries some outstanding features.

The company's new flagship has been launched with a (10-core) deca-core processor, a 21-megapixel rear camera with a ring flash, 4GB of RAM, a minimum of 32GB of storage - all of it - at a price of around Rs 26,000 in China.

The screen size of the smartphone has decreased to 5.2-inch 1080p when compared to the successor Meizu Pro 5 which flaunted a 5.7-inch display and at the same time you'll notice slightly curvier antenna lines on the back, gelling with the metallic design.

3D Press, similar to iPhone 6S!

Meizu brings the cheaper alternative to Apple's 3D Touch which they have named as 3D Press. Of course, the functions are similar, press the camera and take a selfie, instead of opening the app and etc.

Ring Flash

This is what we liked about the camera, the ring flash which is very neatly fitted around the laser auto focussing sensor. We'll have to use the device to find out, what kind of performance that placement will give to pictures taken using 10 LED flash.

Deca-core MediaTek Helio X25 processor

With this kind of CPU specs, Meizu Pro 6 is definitely the first smartphone in the market with a 10 core processor. Reportedly, the CPU breaks down to 2x Cortex A72 high performance cores, and two clusters of quad-core, more power-efficient A53s.

Other features include the latest Meizu Flyme OS, fingerprint scanner, 4GB RAM, USB-C for charging, mCharge 3.0 delivers 24 Watts of power and 2,560mAh battery on board.

The phone is available in 16GB and 32GB variants priced around 25K-28K in China. It's also available in different color options including gold, dark grey and light grey.
